Isabel Perry is a Brooklyn-based director of theatre and film. She is currently developing her first feature, The Narrows, written by Madison Fiedler.

Her recent work includes a site-specific production of Guys and Dolls with older adults at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, called “ingenious” by Vulture; the Vimeo Staff Pick short Fishbowl, which screened at Palm Springs International ShortFest, Chicago International Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, Rooftop Films, and NewFest; and Helga, starring Tuuli Sandvold and Michael Gandolfini.

She has directed and developed work with Disney Theatrical, Primary Stages, Soho Playhouse, The Tank, and others. She most recently worked with Aaron Sorkin on research for The Social Reckoning and assisted producers Julie Oh and John Skidmore on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s upcoming film Octet.

Recent Associate Director credits include: Dylan Mulvaney’s The Least Problematic Woman in the World (dir. Tim Jackson), Safety Not Guaranteed (dir. Lee Sunday Evans), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea starring Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott (dir. Jeff Ward), Camelot (dir. Bart Sher), Camp Siegfried (dir. David Cromer).

Isabel is a member of the ‘23-’24 Roundabout Directors Group, an instructor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and a Square Peg Social Semi-Finalist. She is a graduate of Northwestern University where she studied Theatre & Asian American Studies.
